Re: Merging/expanding OpenXVario branches
Hello Rob, congratulation to the DC-16 transmitter - its REALLY a nice big block of HW (and SW), isn't it? ;-) And yes, the original Jeti openXvario branch works well. I designed a DIY PCB for it (all-in-one, much smaller than a Pro Mini but HW compatible), then built up 5 sensors of this type and ...

Why would you need too? Taranis has an inbuilt module. Only reason I see to use something else is for supporting models you already have in different systems.

Re: Arduino FRSKY SPORT to JETI DUPLEX transcoder..
Hey. Thanks for the info. I have a load of diy going on at home, so work on this project will be patchy. If I can get the frsky side sorted - I imagine the jeti side wilk be rather easy. The classes kind of already exist to just do the job. Realistically... a few weeks before I make progress. Just t...

Re: Arduino FRSKY SPORT to JETI DUPLEX transcoder..
I've got a general idea at this point. Any info you can supply would be usefull. I guess what I need to do is hook a up a sensor and arduino - to see what I get out of it! I have never done any proper protocol based coding so will be a challenge :) I think that a big advantage of this sort of tranco...

Re: Arduino FRSKY SPORT to JETI DUPLEX transcoder..
Hmm...
Yes. Prerty much.
Having a read of this:
https://github.com/zendes/SPort
It sould look to me like this code is simply sniffing the wire. Not actually sending th id.
This will need some thought.
The aim is essentially to make the Arduino emulate the receiver function.

Arduino FRSKY SPORT to JETI DUPLEX transcoder..
Hi All I am starting to pull together some information to enable a SPORT to DUPLEX convertor to be made. The idea here is to enable cheaper frsky sensors to be used with the Jeti Duplex protocol. Initial research would show it to be quite a straight forward job. A few resources I have found are: 1. ...

OpenXVarioJeti - Where can I get jetibox.ino?
Hello,
Just tried compiling this branch.
Its missing the file jetibox.ino
Any idea where it can be found? I am keen to test this all out.

Did the original jeti branch work?
My time ia a touch limited - but assuming that the original works I will sort out a jeti code port and test.

You can download it from the frsky website.
But its not really an fraky version. It is simply a version of opentx!

Re: LCD grainy when using Hawkeye LRS Tx
The 9x can run on much lower than thr voltage you sre supplying. I do not think it is the source of the problem. Most likely rf interference. As I said before. Try adding shielding. Possibly change the orientation of the lrs antenna. Does it make a difference? Can the lrs run im low power mode? Does...

you posted in the 9xr thread.
Have you reflashed to opentx? Or using er9x?
I believe er9x may have better support for the spektrum telemetry.

Have you reflashed with the frsky version of the firmware?
The pins get remapped with the telemetry mod, so a firmware update is required.

I would think this ia probably the same in version 1 of opentx.
its because the processinf of the logic moves fron left to right. Not right to left.

Re: LCD grainy when using Hawkeye LRS Tx
Does it get better or worse if you change the orientation of the antenna?
You may have luck with some insulated foil sheeting inside the radio.
Sometimes just changing the lrs antenna to a different length version can help.

Yes. That would work. Just a mattee of hooking up the cables. I cannot be certain if you need a video signal coming in to it to make it work. Nevee tried without! But seriously... I would say that if flying line of site. Dont become dependant on this sort of tech. It is far better to learn how to ha...
