Turnigy 9X Upgrading to the ATmega128 CPU Chip
Hello All! Finally I was able to find complete board powered by the ATmega128. I would take advantage from it, since I have currently the 64 version, where I have installed the Smartieparts programmer v 2.4. I have some questions related to the following different scenarios. 1) NO TELEMETRY, WITH JP...

Re: Turnigy 9X Upgrading to the ATMEGA2561-16AU CPU Chip
Good day João, yesterday eve I found the same supplier you are suggesting. Thanks in any case. Now, the matter is shifted for me and it's more appealing to me the challenge in doing this replacement. Moreover, considering that 9extreme is no more available (to me it is impossible to build one) and t...

Re: Turnigy 9X Upgrading to the ATMEGA2561-16AU CPU Chip
Hi João, first of all thank you for helping me. I have now a better idea of the job. I believe I'll be able to find a support for the unsoldering and soldering part. BTW I have a pro heater gun that could work to unsolder and I'm looking at YouTube tutorials for surface mounting soldering. The probl...

Turnigy 9X Upgrading to the ATMEGA2561-16AU CPU Chip
Hello, I'm a fan of this great radio. Unfortunately I missed to purchase the 9Extreme board......... With the aim to get the best from it I read previous topics on the subject, however, since my limited skills in electronics, I'm struggling to understand if this upgrade would be feasible even to me....

JP4IN1 Multi Prot Transm Module OPTION TO DISABLE CHANNEL REMAPPING
Hello, would it be possible to add a "Disabling Channel Re-Mapping" option, selectable at model setup level in one of the next revisions, if any? As Pascal well pointed out: "You can disable channel re-mapping If you prefer to configure the channel order yourself, or if channel re-map...

Re: Turnigy 9X THROTTLE WARNING
So Mike, now it's clear. There was an overlapping of my errors. 1) bad calibration that impacted all the models 2) error (I don't know how I did it) when i setup a dummy model to test the multiproticol module. I'll check where is the "Throttle Default" position setting to learn and avoid. ...

Re: Turnigy 9X THROTTLE WARNING
Mike, 1) When on the throttle warning screen, moving the ele stick fully both ways doesn't remove the warning. 2) When on the throttle warning screen, just moving the throttle stick removes the warning. 3) I here attach the downloads. 4) loading new EEPROM, after stick calibration, warning is OFF wh...

Re: Turnigy 9X THROTTLE WARNING
@ Mike
Mike,
to exclude hw caused issues, could you share with me a clean working er9x configuration (without any model)?
I could upload it on my Turnigy 9x and check if the warning is still active.
Please let me know.
Thanks lot!

I don't know if I understood you, but I have not sounds installed and the welcome screen appears correctly just before the warning.
Is there a way to download the radio setup with eepe to analyze it?
Thanks!

Re: Turnigy 9X THROTTLE WARNING
Hi Mike, I did it and now it goes from -100 upto 100, however the error message is still active at start and, still, the counter on THs is stopped when I bypass the error message without touching the stick.
Strange indeed...
Thanks!
Sergio

Turnigy 9X THROTTLE WARNING
Hello, I have my Turnigy 9x with the original ATmega64 chip flashed with Er9x-pxr822 FW. Recently I started experiencing an issue when I switch on the radio: I'm getting always the throttle warning message even if the throttle is in the proper zero/idle position. To override I simply press a key as ...

Re: Tandem rotor helicopter
Mike,
I have been too much optimistic.
There is no way to get the help of a gyro.
This is the real limit with helicopters.
Cheers,
Sergio

Re: Tandem rotor helicopter
Mike, I here attach EEPE MODEL where I implemented your hints. I simulated it and corrected your setup about pitch, "add mixes to channels 3 and 6" and reversed the weights as follows: CH3 -100% Ele CH6 +100% Ele Motor is on CH7 with Throttle Cut. On CH8 will go gyro gain control. I simula...

Re: Tandem rotor helicopter
Mike, your understanding is correct. ASAP I'll setup the mechanics and I'll test your program. In the meantime, I'll simulate it with eepe. This is another proof that ER9X is truly powerful and unique. People who purchase famous branded radios, get less, spending much more...... I'll feedback my res...

Hello,
I would appreciate using your setup, but I'm not able to open it with EEPE (already renamed as *.hex, *.eepe, *.eepm, *.bin).
Thanks.
