Hi,
I was using a V series rx, no telemetry.
I use internal for X and D, external for V.
What's the difference in the 3 files ?

Re: Upgrading internal module of original Taranis to EU vers
I accidentally took my 72" electric Piper Cub off in range test mode, when I was using an external module, which doesn't warn you. I was doing a range check, got distracted to help some one else, came back to my model, and forgot !!! I still had partial control at 300 metres, enough to get it d...

Re: " From my testing the 2015-04-20 that isn't supposed to support D8 still does. " I am a bit concerned that if I install this, and for some reason it doesn't, there is no way back to what I had before. I like the D system, and I hate the PCB ariels. Everytime I buy an X receiver, I have...

Re: Upgrading internal module of original Taranis to EU vers
I don't use S Bus and can't see myself needing more than 8 channels on 1 RX. If you can find the version with D seiries supprt, that would be great.

Re: Upgrading internal module of original Taranis to EU vers
Is there any benefit to an X series receiver in its normal mode ?
S.port still works in D mode. As far as I can see all you loose is the model match feature.
Or am I missing something here ?

Upgrading internal module of original Taranis to EU version
I have finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade my internal module on Taranis so I can start using all the X series RXs I keep buying 'properly' instead of binding them in D mode. Taranis has Open TX 2.0.15 installed. I have the FrSky upgrade cable FUC-3, drivers installed on my Win 7 PC, and ...

Wireless trainer with D4R-II - How to actually connect ?
I want to set up a wireless trainer system using the D4R-II.
There is just one point I can't understand.
Manual says:
"If CH3 and CH4 are connected by a jumper, CH1 will output CPPM for CH1~CH8"
How do I physically conect CH1 to the trainer socket of the master TX ???

Re: How to field charge the standard TX battery
Am I correct in believing the polarity doesn't matter, it will work either way? Useful if you don't know whether the charging jack is centre negative or centre positive ?

Fluctuating between 2.5 and 3.5, averaging about 3 volts when trainer switch activated, 0.00 otherwise.

Re: Problem with trainer socket on FlySky 9x
I measured both resistors on my multi meter, as I can't read them, one was 39,000 other was 1,000,000. I assume that is what 39K and 1M means ? The other thread says: "The cap valve in the above diagram is 4.7nf or .0047uf the drawing is not as clear as I'd hoped." That is what I believe I...

I have the components to build the adapter now, all I need to know now is which wire is which. Having cut my trainer lead, I find it is co-ax. Which is the signal and which is the ground?

Problem with trainer socket on FlySky 9x
Hi, I have 4 TX's, in purchase order we have a JR 388S, a JR X-3810, then the FlySky 9x with open tx installed, and finally the Taranis. Both the JR's work perfectly as slave to the Taranis. But neither will work as slave to the FlySky. And the FlySky and Taranis won't work as a pair, either way rou...

Re: variable up elevator throw for landing required.
Hi, After a few tries, I came up with something that does what I was trying to achieve. Basically the amount of elevator throw that my rate switch changes is done with GV2 Then I use a curve with channel 16 that goes from 50% to 100% Then the mix lines for C16 are: MAX weight GV2 NoTrim * LS Weight ...

Re: variable up elevator throw for landing required.
I already have rates set up, but they increase both down and up throw. This would be just for the last few seconds of the landing, so I don't run out of flare, and I won't need to let go of the right stick to activate it. I think the weight of the up throw need to be the product of two global variab...

variable up elevator throw for landing required.
I have tried to figure this one out and can't. What I want to do is use the left side slider to increase up only elevator throw, as I have a EDF jet that tends to run out of up elevator when you glide in and flare for landing. In normal (fast) flight, you only need +/- 5mm throw, but this is not eno...

minute call not working on taranis with 2.0.15
Hi,
I recently flashed my original Taranis (not a Taranis plus) with open TX 2.0.15.
I have just noticed that whether I set a countup or countdown timer, it no longer call out the minutes.
Have I missed something here ?
