Re: frsky binds but no servo response
Silly question but is the DHT modual switch on the correct position for the type of Rx you are using. Only saying as I use both telem and none telem and its got me a couple of times. I now add sw1 or sw2 as a suffix on the model name screen to remind me. Sorry if you have checked it but worth mentio...

Re: PPM mode channels switching
I had the same issue when I started using PPM SUM. What firmware are you using for mission planner (Arducopter or megapirate) if megapirate you need to enable ppm in Arduino before you compile and also define the correct channel order too. Then you still may need to move them around in your mix list...

Used this setup on my Teksumo and it works perfectly. Just had to swap Ele and Ail around to suit my transmitter and perfect. Not flown yet but its all moving how it should. Thanks Rob

Should I switch from ER9x to Open 9x
Hi guys, I have been using the ER9x FW for 6 months and am very pleased with how great its made a cheap transmitter. What I wondered was if it is worth me trying the Open9x for a change of would I not notice many differences. I use 7 channels at the moment for my multirotors.

What flight controller are you using. With APM in mission planner when you have your channels tab where you can see the bars move up and down with stick movement. Each bar will have a numerical figure for every movement and these are what you need to read. You will be able to tell as when you flick ...

I have set up my er9x and std turnigy 9x with six flight modes using a mix of the 3 way switch and a 2 way switch. I have there is a step by strep I will dig them both out. They both work perfectly but make sure you don't just copy the step by step output numbers as your will be different. This is al...

Re: Is there a count down timer ?
I did try that but it didn't actually change anything on my timer screen. I set it to 1minute to test and countdown but when I went into the timer it as at 00:00 and when I pressed menu it started counting up.

Is there a count down timer ?
Hi guys really getting to love the ER9x now I have a better understanding of the updating and saving to the pc so not to lose settings each time. Only thing I can't find out how to do is set a countdown timer or up timer. I have found the timer that you get with a press up and start it with a menu b...

I got mine from Maplins in the UK but most electronics shops will have them. Thinking of replacing a couple of unused ones with push/lock switches in different colours.

I did order one of them a few months ago. After 1 month I hadn't even had a dispatched confirmation. I mailed them and they were out if stock so cancelled the order.
Annoying really as I didn't think you could sell on eBay without the stock.

Re: Need help limiting the end point of my throttle.
I hadn't posted for a couple of day as I think I have cracked it and wanted to be sure. I have managed with all your advise to limit the throttle channel to 70% and this has mad a vast difference to the quad. It's now flyable and I have been able to adjust my PID rates to a sensible number to achiev...

Beeps from left stick when sounds are turned on ?
Hi guys probably a simple thing but when I enable sounds in my menu ie Key beeps i get a beep when I move the throttle (left stick) up and down.
Anyone got any idea what this could be maybe. It happens even when its not connected to a receiver.

Quick update. I am still using my old reciver as don't trust the other one anymore. I have also added a 40cm antenna in replace of the 15cm one that comes with it. It is now up about 20cm from the carbon and its giving me a huge improvement. In fact I can tell how huge as I can't get to the limit of...

If you really want to make it difficult for someone to remove all traces of the previous owner why not just engrave your details on the case somewhere. Seems a waste of time changing the software for this alone when it can still actually be removed by pc connection. I engrave all my power tools for ...

Just wondered if it is normal for ER9x flashed units to switch up and down menu screens with the Hov dial (top left) not noticed it before but it's defiantly doing it now.

Re: Need help limiting the end point of my throttle.
On this Quad I am running 8.5 props and with the reduced curve it has achieved the thrust rate I am happy with. It is making the motors a little hotter but not enough to worry about. I did have 10.5s on it before and it was so powerful I needed very little throttle so battery lasted for ages but was...

Re: Need help limiting the end point of my throttle.
Think the main problem is the motors are to powerful for the weight of the frame so giving to much thrust with little movements of the stick.
