I used a servo connector on the Tx board where you would normally use the 2.5mm stero jack and brought the three lines out to the tx module, and sorry but I do not understand the TTL convertor comment.

Brent, I have installed the board and all is working OK, so I am a happy camper. I have a question as to the function of the yellow and white wire and connection supplied with the mini din socket. Could I use them for a charging connection so that I would not have to remove the battery to charge it....
