Do you have a link to a connector I could use for the trainer port?
Great idea!

Looking to buy - original 9x gimbals
I'm looking to buy a set of original 9x gimbals, possibly from someone who has done an Aurora 9 gimbal upgrade.
Or a broken 9x TX with working gimbals.

i would be interested in helping out with the "application in the co-processor to allow use of it's extra inputs, analog and digital". I've started working on some inputs, but also could work on other inputs of interest to the community at large.

Re: open9x on gruvin9x board - support MavLink?
Bryan: Finally got the schematics up for the gruvin9x board which leads to a few more questions: Both Xbee and 3DR radio are TTL/3.3v devices and use a 5-3.3v regulator to drop down for VCC. !) Would a level shifter (3.3-5) be needed for the telemetry TTL port and UART port on PORTH (PH1/PH0)? Is th...

Kilrah: Can you point me in the right direction to setup the proper build environment for Open9x and ERSKY9x board? I've seen references to YAGARTO. Can you give me some more details on this:

Re: open9x on gruvin9x board - support MavLink?
Sorry for not replying sooner, been on the road travelling. Bertrand: Yes, I'm interested in helping out in anyway on MAVlink in both testing for sure and coding if possible. My personal interest is a Open9x/ERSKY9X/XBEE/Mavlink combo. I have all of the hardware to move ahead with testing etc. I was...

Re: open9x on gruvin9x board - support MavLink?
Bertrand: Questions concerning the gruvin9x board: 1) Do you see the UART/COM port on the 8 pin PORTH aux I/O as COM2 under open9x? 2) Is Bluetooth (frsky pass-thru) supported under open9x? If so which COM port is it addressed to currently? 3) Is (or could) MAVLINK be configurable with respect to wh...

Re: open9x on gruvin9x board - support MavLink?
Oyvind: I had a quick look at the JD-IOBoard. From what I've read so far it would appear that they are offering to go the other way Mavlink to Frsky. To be more precise they are taking info from APM/Arducopter like GPS Info, accelerameter etc and converting it to a Frsky format and sending it back a...

Olafnew: YES - "Find my bird" mode! Local GPS info and magnetometer will take you along way from the simple, but useful DIST function. An accelarometer would be interesting as an input device. Think you could "double tap" for a menu selection. Or use it to trigger some other func...

Re: Co-Processor Inputs
I thought about possibly adding a 1-wire based temp sensor like the Maxim-IC DS18B20 to monitor inside the case temp. Not sure if this is needed with the TINY167 temp sensor now working? Could be used to monitor the 5V reg or some other component. I would like to use the UART to connect an inexpensi...

Re: open9x on gruvin9x board - support MavLink?
Bertrand: Very good news! Will check out the code. What COM port will it (Xbee/3dr radio/MAVLINK) be assigned to or will the user be able to choose the port? I can see some wanting to still use COM1 for Frsky telemetry as I would. I personally would like to use COM2 or COM3 for MAVLINK. Oyvind: Are ...

Re: Open9x/ERSKY9X/Ardupilot
Hello Bertrand, What I'm looking for is the same functionality with Open9x/Ardupilot on the stock board, but on the ERSKY9X board? I don't see a check box option under Companion9x for ardupilot and ERSKY9X. I thought it might be in the "base" code for the ERSKY9X if it were there. If COM1 ...

Will the current version of Open9x support a Xbee connected to COM3 LOGIC (J11) on the ERSKY9X board receiving data from an Ardupilot? Or would I need to use a Bluetooth adapter instead of a Xbee?
