Re: Anti spam measures are too aggressive.
You could try the google reCaptcha (v2) which should prevent bots from being able to post (afik, it's not yet compromised by spam bots)
https://github.com/vinny/recaptcha-2-phpbbmod
It's created by one of the PHPBB team members.
Also 3.1 is out, not sure if it includes it out of the box :p

Re: Anti spam measures are too aggressive.
I was caught out by the registration step claiming my IP was blocked (The IP in question (141.101.98.148) belongs to Cloudflare) and was about as far from my ISP allocated IP as you could get. My assumption at the time was that the Cloudflare IP was being picked up because the page which referred me...

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwBNK6 ... sp=sharing - I just zipped the installer, so hopefully it'll get past your av.
Re: eepSKYe
Mike, the update appears to have resolved the issue
Re: eepSKYe
Managed to get the menu working (Just tried every switch combo I could find until it let me use the menu again).
Used the SD card to "restore" the model from, since writing to the eprom/memory wasnt working.

Re: eepSKYe
I was using the previous eepe, with the eepskye that was in a .zip in the e9xtreme thread from around the 13/14th. I've just downloaded the latest version (running as admin) and unfortunately it's still not transferring my model, and it seems to have corrupted model 01 that was already on the device...
Re: eepSKYe
I'm having some trouble getting anything to write to the model memory, I've tried repeated combinations of Flash/ Burn / Write to push my models from my PC to my 9x/9xtreme board. both the BIN files on the 9extreme seem to update i.e. show the date/time of when I hit burn/write w/e, and then after I...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
I probably need to practice more in daylight first... and I think I'm going to postpone configuration until my XJT arrives, so I can do it once alongside the cleanflight setup.

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
While you're at it, I have a tip: BEFORE you get things screwed in, hold the radio in your hands so that the 9x board is firmly seated and you can at the same time press the menu and other buttons. If they don't engage properly, reposition everything and try again. Otherwise you get everything back...

Re: Receive 9xtreme and Installation
I think I've done something wrong, no power from battery, but USB gives me Switch Error! (all switches in the back position and throttle zeroed (done up and down)) Pictures attached. I've probably done something stupid ;) http://imgur.com/XXMPkLY.jpg http://imgur.com/fy6fDC5.jpg Oh and the backlight...

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
Thanks SM, I noted that Mike did say XJT / Sport was supported on the 9xtreme (about 5 pages back), and I've seen an video who has the XJT in a 9x but I'm not sure what modifications he made to the x9 before installing the XJT module, or if the telemetry even worked :p) Based on that I ordered the X...

Re: 9Xtreme Upgrade Board for 9x Radios
So when I originally planned to upgrade my radio (last year) the programmer and telemetryEZ were the best options, now I've just ordered the 9xtreme board (and it's shipped!) I would like to add a FrSky XJT/X8R along with the 9xtreme for the telemetry, it looks like the 9xtreme is pretty close to pl...
