Just compiled companion on linux 64 bit. Works a treat when launched from the lbuild folder. I've run make install but if I try staring companion I get a No such file or directory message as below. brian@brian-SATELLITE-C870D-11X:~$ companion bash: /usr/local/bin/companion: No such file or directory...

Broke it while trying to insert a USB cable, a case of dumb thumbs:-) . I have cropped the tablet a number of time with the USB cable in place, on at least one of these occasions it landed on the USB plug. This may be of some use, just started with an MCPx myself. I was experimenting with gain but have moved this out of the way onto channell 12. I had a few issues until I got the reverses set properly.

Exactly why I suggested looking at the solder-less solution .... Too late now but may save someone else.
