Compatible receivers for 9x stock transmitter.

Post by Java »

How to tell if receiver is compatible with 9x's stock transmitter or not? I have bought this (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... duct=10625) cheap little receiver and it works. What does that mean? Will every turnigy/hk 2.4ghz receiver work with this transmitter?

Also, does working range depends on transmitter only?

You'll also find the micro controllers work too.

hk190, hk189.. etc.

Been usin the ones you've posted for a year. They work with the Wltoys transmitter too.

It is a shame that FlySky/Hobbyking are not better at communicating which receivers work with the 9x radio module. As far as I know the following receivers exist and work:
The 3 channel receiver for the GT2b and GT3b from FlySky. Sold under the name Hobbyking by HK. This is not a full range receiver, but it works for parkflyers.
The 6 channel receiver for the Flysky FS6 transmitter. Sold under the name Hobbyking by HK. This receiver is small and good. My favourite.
The 8channel SkyFly full range receivers that comes with the transmitter. Sold under the name Turnigy. Much to large.
The micro receivers quoted earlier.
The receiver board in the v911 helicopter. This board has two real servos and can be used for indoor planes. The helicopter is sold by Hobbyking under the name FP100.
The receiver board in the quad copter v929.
If there are more I would sure like to hear about it.

Some more I forgot :
Wltoys new v939 quad. This one looks interesting. I will probably get it.
The Xieda 9958 helicopter made by Great Wall. Hobbyking used to sell it. Don't know if they still do.

Apparently not. It's for their new line of cheap Tx's.

Then you couldn't lock people into your receivers. Sell the TX at cost and make your profit on the receivers. I know I have more invested in receivers than the TX cost.

There needs to be something to offset the ridiculous price and actually make money...
