Its been so long since I've messed with my radio and I want to do a multi module setup..
Does anyone know if the smartiepartz board rev 2.3 can do multi module.
I'd like to put the original module inside the receiver and be able to switch between that and a module I place on the back.
This is for a V2 Turnigy 9X
Can someone tell me if this is possible?

Re: Smartiepartz board Rev 2.3 multi-module?
I believe you are talking about the Smartieparts 9x Solderless Programmer Board Rev 2.3 which has nothing to do with transmitting modules.
See Discontinued Products here: (http://smartieparts.com/shop/index.php? ... ex&cPath=9)
Smartieparts did sell an upgrade board that would do what you want, but is sold out for a lone time now.
It would nice if there were still some 9Xtreme boards available for sale,
more 9Xtreme info here: (http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=7182)
and (http://smartieparts.com/shop/index.php? ... cts_id=378).
There was other upgrade boards and they are sold out too.
You could ask if anyone has one for sale.

Are you running the original firmware, or have you flashed an open source firmware (er9x or openTx)?
Since the multi-module supports the original Flysky protocol, do you still need the original Tx module?
