Re: OpenTX 2.05+ telemetry
Which fields do not work any more? If only FLVSS (lipo voltage sensor) related values (Cell, Cells, etc) then this can be explained. There was a recent change in processing FR_ID_CELLS data. Now the number of cells is also needed inside data stream. Take a look at the source in https://github.com/op...

There might also be a problem of the wrong use of flight modes in mixer lines. There was a similar problem that I solved for another user http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=29063641&postcount=3391 Henri you can post eepe here if you also describe in detail what actions cause that issu...

Re: Flight mode trim values
I might have to go down the GV route. Although i was having trouble with incrementing a GV on trm movements in the companionTX simulator (clicking the trim buttons worked, but directly sliding the slider failed to increment the GV). THis may not actually be an issue on the Taranis tho. The Gvars ar...

Re: Firmware 2.0.8 Link
You download radio firmware with Companion. First configure radio profile to suit your setup and then do the download (all inside Companion). The build server then prepares your version of firmware and the download begins. There is no separate download page for OpenTX radio firmware.

Re: taranis wont turn on
One possible reason could be the wrong firmware. I guess you downloaded fw for Taranis+. Check that in Companion settings and re-download it again. Burn using zadig with radio tuurned off.
Btw Taranis CAN'T BE BRICKED.

TigerOC you need to reverse one of the aileron channels in SERVOS page. Which one depends on your setup, you will find out by testing.

Re: 2.0.7 on a 9X radio
I guess 9X doesn't have a model conversion routines because of limited FLASH space. But you sill can convert your models in the new Companion, just load you backup into it.

Re: 2.0.7 on a 9X radio
Models are lost if you previous firmware is not OpenTX but something else. Otherwise models should be converted to 2.0 format. The 9X only supports four flight modes and this is limited by the available resources. But OpenTX flight modes don't have anything to do with flight controller's flight mode...

Re: S1 pot doesn't center to "0"
Mine has center detents on pots, made somewhere around January 2014, rev B. The error op is seeing is due to the fact that center position of pots is not calibrated - that is how the OpenTX firmware is written.

Re: Lua Telemetry scripts
I notice as welll in the tracker #1480, there are some test scripts to get the list of constants. Are these run in the simulator, and if so, where does the output go? Currently only available on Linux platforms, if you run Companion or stand-alone simulator from a command line window (terminal) you...

The switch issue is a mechanical issue with the switch, when you move it slowly it doesn't make a contact.

Re: Differnt bootloader versions?
I think this is EXACTLY a problem I have mentioned before. If the bootloader is kept separate, then it's functionality stays unchanged. Because, on openTx, the bootloader shares the code with the openTx firmware, changes to openTx affect the bootloader unless you do a specific conditional compile w...

Re: Differnt bootloader versions?
Mikeb the name limit that I wrote about was arbitrary small number for which I was sure it would work. I remember that there is a limit albeit much bigger than that. And this is in opentx firmware, not in boot loader.

Re: Differnt bootloader versions?
Well you did not update bootloader in one of them. The easiest way is to update firmware with Taranis turned off (this uses old DFU mode). The other way is to copy new firmawre to SD card (rename it so it is less then 10 chars long) and use radio setup menu, sd card page, select firmwar file, to fla...

Re: FAS-100 current reading offset
Maybe you forgot to check "fasoffset" option in Companion radio profile settings. You need to check it and then download a new version if firmware that will contain that setting. Additionally this might be a bug for Companion simulator, I don't see FAS_OFFSET defined in opentxM64simulator....

Kilrah remembers correct, I just checked the source code. But there is a bug for Taranis, it doesn't do anything. I will create an issue on github.
