I had to increase the yaw rate too. Mine was very slow responding before that.

Do you have pics of the damage? English is obviously not your first language so the description is not coming across very well.

Re: Getting rid of the Hobby King usbasp SCK error
Flaps, what OS do you use on your computer? The ad for your programmer says it doesn't work with win7. I wonder if that is actually true?

Re: er9x and mode2
Also, the default setting you are changing in eepe is only for creating new models in eepe. It will set the channels in that order by default. That doesn't mean you have to keep them in that order. This is the beauty of er9x. You can change the order of the channels in the mixer to whatever you want...

Re: er9x and mode2
If you are flying bnf helis then you have to set the channel order in the mixer to match their output which should be TAER. spektrum stuff uses TAER channel order. If something has a receiver with sockets you can move the servo connections to the AETR order if you like but as a general rule all the ...

Re: er9x and mode2
Look in the mixer menu of your model setings(hold right button to get to model settings). You can set the channels there to whatever input you want. CH1 as THR, CH2 as AIL, CH3 as ELE and CH4 as RUD. Also, in the radio settings(press left button long) page 1 you can look all the way at the bottom an...

Re: er9x and mode2
You can backup the stock firmware and eeprom with eepe or companion9x before changing to one of the other firmwares. There are copies of it floating around as well.

Re: Headtracker not working
I also answered this in the 9xrforums thread. I think the problem in my testing is that I was using a cable that has a futaba plug on one end and a JR on the other. This is why input and output works in my testing. If I were to use a futaba <-> futaba cable it would be the same as you describe. I wo...

Re: Turnigy 9XR General
Oh my, I think I may have found another problem. I posted this on the 9xr forum in response to Elmardus' problem. Can anyone else with a 9xr test the PPMSIM setting and verify that their radio does NOT output a PPM signal over either trainer port with the radio turned on by the main power switch and...

Re: Turnigy 9XR General
Another thing I don't like is the feel of the throttle stick. It isn't smooth feeling at all. I tried adjusting the metal pressure strip and added some silicone grease but it is still rather terrible feeling. Part of the problem is that the stick is looser feeling toward the bottom part of the trave...

Re: Turnigy 9XR General
I will say that the radio does look much harder to mod. The case is very limited in space.
I also do not like the new buttons at all. I think overall the 9x is still a much better radio.

They wont fit the 9x because they attach differently. The screws are attached from the inside of the radio through the holes in the gimbal and thread into the front case.

Re: Turnigy 9XR General
Some pics of the gimbal assembly. The change over from mode 1 to mode 2 is not as simple as it used to be. The pin holding the cam lever is pressed in and the lever can't be easily removed. I think it would be easier to swap the gimbals from side to side but you would have to swap the wires from one...

I noticed you mentioned earlier about not understanding the check boxes and how to set them. Did you ever figure out how they work? Did you mean how to arm each aux channel and make it high medium low?

Re: Wooden sticks for winter flying
Just thinking, Maybe silicone fuel tubing? I guess you would have to use a long screw into the stick and then tubing over that? Maybe the larger tubing would actually stretch enough to fit the stock stick? Unscrew the stick and push the tubing on from the small shaft end towards the larger end with...

Re: ERSKY9x Questions
I think part of the frustration that lead to the initial statement about stopping er9x development in favor of ersky is that those who have the sky board are anxious to see what can be done with the more powerful board. There is so much more potential with that board but it is being held back by han...

Re: Module and antenna question with new Turnigy 9XR
What other radio system uses a different antenna than this? You don't have to cut it off if you don't use it. It's internal to the radio and doesn't get in the way of anything if you use a turnigy, frsky or any other module. The planned use for this antenna is to be used with the coming hobby king d...
