Taking me seriously? Who are you and what have you done with cre8tivleo?
Anyway, I'd draw your attention to whats in the bag and not the bag itself. There's a nice label on it

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
Static bags? I hope not. We need less static not more. Unless you mean the type that don't move... Those are better than the ones who do.

Re: Keeping to Topic - A general and non policed rule
hello rob, "... a non policed rule", uhm... in my first post in the "welcome" thread, i made a feeble attempt @ some humor. it got the desired response, a couple shots at me and a lite-hearted flow of banter between the "core group", the same bunch that have been invol...

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
I streamlined some of the code and junked what I thought was not useful at the time.
Once I have the mixer up and running, I'll revamp the output. It's not a problem.
Kaos, you implying I'm fat? I'm not.... (just weight 240, that's all )

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
There's a short explanation on the code page: http://code.google.com/p/pipo/
To edit the mixer and/or update fw, you will have to use your usbasp programmer. Once I have the FW and pipofig in place I'll do a short writeup.

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
Coming soon to a PIPO near you.... The er9x mixer. I was able to port the mixer with almost all the functions including: 1) Slow/Delay 2) Custom switches 3) limits Still finalizing stuff and getting pipofig upto snuff. This will be ported to pipo32 as well. Just wish I had some time to BREATH! I hav...

motorized sticks...
Good: force-feedback
Bad: break? (are they spring-loaded?) long startup.
Still extremely skeptical about this making it to market. At least we now see they have a real product, or at least a working prototype.

PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)
I thought it would be better to have a thread dedicated to this unit. OK guys, Time to spell out the specs. No april fools this time: 1) MCU is a high density STM32. 512k of SRAM. Lotsa lotsa room. Lotsa IO's too. You will not outgrow this one. (Heck, there are LINUX versions that can run on that......

I'll do a drawing but it's pretty simple. Outside dimensions are 45x45. Hole spacing is 30.5mm.

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
I was considering going smaller but there seem to be others that are that small. 45x45 is a bit bigger but still pretty small. I plan on making a microquad to show this. Interstingly enough, the MPU-9050 will not save space, it will just add a magnetometer. This is only important if you have a full ...

Hello all, V2 has been discussed for some time now. Secretly, Mike and I have been working on it to make it the best FW since, well, ever! All the hard work has come to fruition and I think this is the time to tell you what the future of er9x holds.... We've had lot's of issues that seem to stem fro...

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
Now you tell me...
9-axis is:
3 axis for gyro, 3 axis for accelerometer and 3-axis for magnetometer.
Actually, there's an altimeter on board too so I guess you could call it 10-axis
On other news....

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
Big (well not really), shiney, new and FASSSSTTTTT!!!!!
But it will be more expensive than the 8-bit PIPO. I expect the price to be ~$80. Still, with 20 I/Os, and a whole sea of memory to play with.....

Yeah,

After 3 hours straight of sitting down and ordering components I save, and close the program. Only to think of something else, open again and see that it all went to garbage! Horror!

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
It won't get much smaller. I'll probably go with a killer MCU and a 36x36 size. Still pretty small.
Problem is that smaller is also much harder to handle.
Maybe once I get the software sorted and the line is going well I'll do a micro versio, but that's still a bit off.

Re: PIPO ISU - stabilization board
It can do flybarless now. But I'm consulting with Groot... I'll definitely make a new board. Knowing me it should be ready before the end of the next month. Meanwhile I still have a couple of 8-bit units available. Willing to sell them at $40 to anyone who wants. (those of you who have bought one la...
