That really shouldn't be the case.

Are you running 32bit or 64bit?

Not giving away beer. Code, yes. Bows, yes. Fluffy bunnies - only if UPS agrees to ship them and I get a written affidavit that they will not be harmed. But not beer. No. :P Messing around with SW I got an idea for a simple(er) way to plug in servos (actually Groot suggested it at first). I don't li...

Re: FTBB on eePe

eePe reads the avrdude.conf file and extracts the programmers from there. Couple o foptions: 1) avrdude file was not updated to include FTBB 2) the avrdude.conf file is malconfigured. 3) multiple copies of avrdude.conf - not reading the correct file: For Linux: /etc/avrdude.conf Windows: same folder...

Nothing worse than a programmer/developer who thinks he knows what the user wants.

There were waaaayyy to many times I was proven wrong and/or dumb by the er9x community. The radio sure looks nice but this whole thing smells of vaporware.

It's based on an amp case. Looks kinds retro but it's super sturdy and feels wonderful in my hand.

I'm still working on a suitable size and layout.

Re: ERSKY9x Rev. B1 User Area

I think I have a case manufacturer lined up.
Hopefully he can predrill holes and we can set up a one-peice board that will hold the pots and switches as well. (Brent's idea)

Liking this a lot!

A better solution is to use "REPLACE":

    R -100%FULL Switch(SW7)

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)

That's the general idea :)

Boards this small are pretty stiff, I'm not worried about flexing. But soldering the top board down will make it super stiff. There might be a case available as well (not from me).

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)

Took me long enough... exp-board.png The expansion board is ready. I like how it came out. You can install it on top of the original board like a shield. (no, I will not install male-female headers) And there are 19 IO's. That means you can have 8 inputs and 11 outputs. Or perhaps 1 input and 18 out...

Re: PIPO32 - Monster ISU :)

I wanted to keep the size down.

I might make a servo expansion board once the unit is going.... Actually I think I'll design one now :)

I think you would be happier with the 32bit. It's just a lot more powerful. I'm not sure I can port everything to the 8-bit platform.

Re: USBASP under ubuntu problem.

Silly question, is it plugged in? Try removing it and plugging it back in. Sometimes that helps to reset it. Also, more than likely you have an old FW version on the programmer itself. No big deal, it still flashes fine but I have noticed that it will lock up from time to time. (It's also dreadfully...

Re: mega128 instead of mega64 ?

At some point we had er9x running on the 128. I don't think there should be a problem, you would, however, need to compile for it.
In the Makefile the first parameter is:

Code: Select all

# MCU name
MCU = atmega64
Change that to 128 and run make. Good luck!
