I haven't used my tx for a long time. I'm using a Turnigy 9XR (not Pro). It has the Version V1.438-Mike, 09.05.2015 21:23:35, SVN: er9x-r818, MOD: FRSKY NT.

My question: is there a newer that it's worth to update to? And if yes: where do i find it?

I've got my XJT+Receiver yesterday, but not the eBay Item until now.
Is it save to use the XJT-Module in the 9XR before changing the Mod? Does it work without telemetry or will it kill my XJT or 9XR?

If you do the DJT mod the way I did, and include the RS232 inverter/buffer in the radio, then both the DJT and the XJT will work directly. Is there a way to change my Mod to your Mod, without soldering again on the main board or at least the main chip (which lost already 1 pin :o ) Thank you. Regar...

Depends on the way you did the telemetry mod. If you use a RS232 level converter (which also inverts the signal), connected to pin 5 of the module connector, the XJT just plugs in and works. The problem was the hardware part. I bought some tiny flexible wire. But maybe my soldering iron is not that good...
