Re: Throttle starts as radio is very near

Apologies I'm using a Radiomaster TX16S and a Frsky S6R. Failsafe is set for zero throttle. Thanks.

Throttle starts as radio is very near

Even if the throttle cut is on if I get the radio very close to the receiver the throttle kicks in. Any advice appreciated as this is obviously very dangerous behaviour. Thanks in advance.

Re: Airbrakes going the wrong way

I have realised that the rudder had a splitter cable on it. So it was just on one channel, I need to move to a second channel.

Airbrakes going the wrong way

Anyone can help with this: I have airbrakes on a Stryker and a Scimitar - I set up both planes exactly the same on the Stryker all is good (they fold out opp direction) but on the Scimitar they both go the same way (to the left). I obviously want one to go left the other to go right. Any help apprec...

EU model Vs non EU model

Is there a physical hardware difference between the EU/non EU versions or is it purely based on the firmware used.
There is an option in setup to select EU, America or Japan what does this do and is it linked to above?
Appreciate advise.

Replacing Taranis

Is it possible to copy all models from one Taranis to another without losing the model bindings?

Re: Basic question on new setup - Slider

Sorry what an idiot I am - it even says to centre on the screen! I think I got confused also as it only uses the bottom half of the display. Thanks - That did it

Basic Question on New setup - Charging

The few things I have read I think I am not alone on this one. I charge the radio using the wall charger it came with it start with flashing green lights, then goes steady green for a couple of hours, then goes out. But it is not charged - I get low power warning. The Taranis display reports 8.7V an...

Basic question on new setup - Slider

I have just recieved my Taranis and apart from other problems I have one that I really cant fathom and am sure there is a simple answer but cant find it. I am initially checking that all switches work, etc. I have a problem with the sliders. When they are set to the centre position the lCD does not ...

Re: Swopping from Spektrum to Taranis

Ok I'll just order the Radio for now then and a few cheap recievers. The Radio is very confusing though, hope you can explain. They have one called the Original and another obviously without the term "original" in the title both are referred to as " The X9D PLUS" versions and bot...

Re: Swopping from Spektrum to Taranis

Is the 4 way module the Cc2500? If so seems it's soon to be replaced with a V2. Also it appears theres no hosting for it. How do you get around that?
Thanks for advice.

Re: Swopping from Spektrum to Taranis

Thanks for all the useful information. I have now done a little more research. I'm of a mind to totally swop out of Spektrum. It makes sense that the 615's were just poor. I had used them on DSM and they were OK but DSMX had a very unreliable signal. I have numerous fixed wing planes obviously some ...

Swopping from Spektrum to Taranis

I am contemplating moving away from Spektrum. I am not disatisfied with Spektrum but would prefer to setup on a PC rather through an infuriating series of buttons. I have a few questions: I have a number of Orange DSMX R615X modules which I purchased to go with what was a new DX9 tranny. I found the...

Programming hardware UK

I want to program my 9XR but understand I need a Program module and a 10-6 pin conversion lead. I also understand that the latest batch of Radios may use a different chipset. My question therefore is can I buy the required items in the UK. I search on Ebay UK and find several slightly different opti...
