Re: OpenTX 2.1 & FrSky FLVSS Individual Cell Voltages?
I saw that it was disappear as well.
I found that I can define it myself, additional 6 lines (one for each cell, 6 in my case) in the telemetry lines, and then place them into a telemetry screen.
Anyone have a different way?

Re: OpenTX 2.1 released!
There will be a way to create a separate sensor on which you can play with range without affecting the rest in 2.1.1. There still need to be changes on range/offset and they should make such things easier. It could be nice if we can define more that one telemetry line for each sensor. Is there a te...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 released!
Of course there is an alarm, but when the alarm is on, the openTx start calling the voltage every 5sec, here is the point of the issue, the calling of 14.2 14 13.6 does mot as clear as 3.6v 3.3v On my F3A plane, i use the X8R + SMART PORT LIPO VOLTAGE SENSOR So the calling of the lowest cell (in the...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 released!
I am running different planes with different batteries
I like to prepare for landing when the cell bellow 3.6v
I don't remember during flight the following
3cells = 10.8
4cells = 14.4
6 cells = 21.6
Any option to implement this except lua?

Just make the move to the 2.1, almost with no issues. Looks very professional! Thanks all. Is there a way to divide a telemetry value with a constant? News from FrSky
Can it be that Frsky are not interested in the open source os anymore? Don't get me wrong, i love the openTx and er9x ( I have two Taranis, and one 9x) But a lot of guys refuse!! to use it due to the complexity. Personally I do believe that Frsky could sell a lot more Taranis if it had a simple (and...

Re: OpenTX 2.1 telemetry system preview
This anticipated enhancements looks very cool!!
I think that if there will be NO automatic conversion for the models (including the telemetry)
Then a major change in the version naming should be considered
i.e. version 3.0 instead of 2.1

..."quite easy" before you 5-10 full blown model with flight-mode and telemetry warnings.

Kilrah, how this mix will look like?
I need to take the delta v [curr v/cell]-3.7v and somehow use this delta to reduce the max throttle level.
How?
Jhsa, why the refresh is an issue, is the battery v change so frequently?

I know it's possible, But since the setting is NOT per transmitter, and since volume is a basic functionality in every device that have speaker, it should be simpler in such quality program(!!) than make a user like my set 28 different tasks [emoji26] for my 14 models (2 task per model) -- Offer --

Re: Using 1-8S Lipo monitor as a sensor
Hi I make one, with oXs but not very usefull. The oXs can easily detect 6 cell, but failed to make them reasonably accurate for the voltage monitor. And the legs of the chip for detecting the current, (15$) just broke. Its hard to do it reliable when all the resistor / chips are on the air (without ...

We don't have other Taranis in my club, but people with 9xr never update it, so i believe that if they had a Taranis it was the same.
It is just to complicated for them.

Re: Question about powering the OXS
Cool idea!!
I am building 6cell oXs, and just wonder from where i am going to power it.
I will use that trick, i don't care about so small unbalance, the charger will fix it [emoji6]
Another way will be to power it from the receiver voltage.

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface
Thanks for the information. It will be better if the implementation be one of the two: 1. Ignore low values only for 500mili sec 2. Always show the real values, but do NOT change the minVolt if the values are too low. In both ways, the presentation will be more accurate, and the alarms will still wo...

Re: OpenXSensor SPORT Interface
I use case #2,
I disconnect the balance plug from the oXs (keeping the voltage to Arduino)
Looking at the debugging info of the Arduino, it looks like it send zero for each cell.
What is the logic of the implementation in the openTx side?

when i disconnect the battery from the oxs, the values on the Taranis freeze with last value, not showing the 0v
Is it normal? Can i disable it? I like to know that the oXs does not get any value.

I am using openXsensor that read 6 cell voltage and send them to the Taranis.
Should i configure something to show this screen?.
