good luck. It has been awhile since I went down this path so this is all the help I have in this area the last time this came up on this forum http://openrcforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=109&t=7086 somewhat old but along the same lines. I was hit with something similar when I first got started...

Re: Software Defined TX using Arduino and Android?
I dont think the hardware you mention in your last paragraph would be considered SDR. the NRF24 is not SDR. My limited understanding of SDR is that it usually uses an fpga to simulate the hardware of a transceiver. once you get away from the ISM band ( typically 2.4ghz), you are going to need to mod...

Re: Bricked/Dead T9X
Hello and welcome. if the sck message was related to 'can not set sck period', that is only a warning and you should still be able to read the eeprom. arduinoISP does work as an avr programmer. depending on where you get the sketch from there may need to be changes made to program eeprom. There have...

Re: 9x full programmer mod power consumption
. Anyone who has done this can tell what is the power consumption? Thanks, Dusan in the past I had done some current consumption tests on usbasp. If I recall it was about 40ma when idle and 80ma when programming. This was on an older style usbasp that included a 3.3v regulator( which was usually by...

Re: 9xr and 9x programmers offered at 9xrprogrammer.com
I have about 200 6-pin USBASP programmers left to sell . When they are sold I am closing up the shop. Price reduced for USA buyers to $5 including shipping. I expect it to take the rest of this year to sell these out unless the price reduction causes a significant increase in sales. There wont be an...

Re: Flysky TH9X ER9X blank screen problem
Hi. I looked at your video. Is it possible you plugged your new battery in backwards at one time and blew the voltage regulator ? this is a common issue. Here is why I have determined to possibly be your issue. 1. Unit does not power up from battery with rf modules plugged in. I am assuming it does ...

Re: Flashed with ArduinoISP 0023, won't power on
I looked at your zip but didnt see the arduino sketch you are running. I seem to recall having to make the change mentioned here when I used an arduino as an isp, although it has been over a year since I used the arduino as an isp. Note there are 2 places the code needs to be changed. I think this c...

You can however use the verify option of avrdude to compare the contents of a file with the contents of the MCU.

Re: Flashed with ArduinoISP 0023, won't power on
Probably not. The firmware is in 16 bit format and avrdude stores in 32 bit format. IIR. Open the files as txt and look at the first 2 digits of each line . 10 (16)or 20(32). I did convert one to the other at one time, would have to look that up again. It is posible to manually compare a few lines, ...

with a windows or mac OS you will also need the usbasp drivers for the smartieparts board.

Thanks. I now see what you are speaking of now in the preamble of the V2 license, which is just before the terms and conditions of the actual license begin. You've pointed out an interesting distinction between v2 and v3 of the GPL. In v2, the preamble uses the words 'reflect on the original authors...

Re: Companion 2; write model settings from Ubuntu problems
I agree.
Now i wonder if all linux users have this issue or is it related to ubuntu only, or possibly your hardware ?
Sorry i'm not familiar with taranis, is this sd card removed from the tx or does the tx act as a usb hub to provide access to a sd card installed in the tx ?

"asking for cache data failed" Rob I'm still curious if you can write to the sd card outside of eepe/c9x. Not sure if the 'warning' you mention keeps the card from working but did find some relevent info when searching on your warning https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/9...

Permissions issue ?
Is the laptop booted up and the user logged in before inserting the sd card?
Can you write a new file to the sd card using the file manager or the command line?
Do you have any relevent errors in your logfile or 'dmesg'?

Re: Wanted Mainboard & LCD for T9xr Trransmitter
I believe if you tell eepe that you have a m128 MCU the program will download the appropriate firmware. IIR there are 2 places to tell eepe that you have M128. One is in the avrdude configuration section( the gear icon near the top of the program). this is so avrdude passes the correct parameters fo...

Re: AVRDude writing eeProm very slow
that sounds like something I would do. Spend hours trying to save 40 seconds :) just a guess but maybe avrdude is erasing pages at a time where as AVRStudio uses a faster(proprietary) method to update the eeprom. - Mike. thanks for clarifying this in the next post I know with usbasp there is a -B op...
