I can confirm. Just ran a test, and disconnected the battery after acquiring GPS, and the coordinates remained flashing. Everything else disappeared, but honestly don't care about the rest.

And worse case, after logging I can always read it out with a computer...

Alright measurement results show that the current is slightly higher than what is measured, but not 10% as measured by the capacity difference. Bill and I ran a test today which didn't work, but he said that the "Latitude and longitude are both ID 0x800. There is a series of bits that indicate the sign and the type (lat or lon)." Can you please confirm?
