Been using c9x a lot lately, and after I switched to 2.11 of sam-ba, I haven't had a single problem. On windows and Linux 64bit.

Do you use sam-ba 2.12? There are some troubles with it. Works fine with 2.11.

I have looking through Frsky.cpp and I can't find a reason why negative wouldn't work. The important variables are all int16_t. Maybe I was fooled by the automatic offset.
I will test it further, but first a Leffe beer and watching Snow White and the Huntsman with my wife..

I just tested summon arm tool chain and I could compile that one. And open9x compiles too. Is there any experience with this tool chain? Is it save to use?

Nice. I try to compile it myself on Ubuntu 12.04.
I installed many arm packages. But I keep getting arm-none-eabi-gcc not found.

Is there a list of necessary packages?

Is a temperature alarm a good idea?
At what temperature should it alarm?

Here the photos of the usb connections. I think this rules out a shortage.

Maybe 9600 is to slow to transport all data and no valid packets arrive.

I do have the one with a heatsink. And it seems like the standard operating voltage is up to 85C.
And could heat cause a USB cable detection?
Using 170mA by the way.

That is a rs232 to ttl converter. That will work on a old serial port, not for usb.

As far as I know it is a ttl cable without power supply. When you add power it should be possible. But I think a ftdi cable from hobbyking or rctimer is easier and cheaper. Probably not the default bluez bluetooth stack.
You could try to install a AOSP based custom rom like Cyanogenmod.

Would be a nice enhancement!

I just installed 2.11 in the default location without adjusting rights and it did work also. Has anybody 2.12 working?
